2/19/2015 0 Comments say hello to summer!just a throwback from where i started before... The summer is coming. And finally, we, the students will have a long day vacation. We will have the time to spend it with our families or friends. Some activities like going out on a beach, out of town trip, etc., And me? I really loved to swim! Even though I’m not good at it. Still, it’s not the reason not to enjoy the beach. I remember when I was a little girl, when we’ve been on a Batangas outing. It’s our neighbor’s birthday so they invited us to come & go. I was so happy back then since I’m with my family. But actually, we already had an outing together before (just me & my family). It’s my mother’s birthday but I don’t remember anymore the place we’ve been through and we didn’t have a chance to get a souvenir of pictures together too. It’s just a mere fact that it will always be just memories for me, of my childhood past. Anyway, there are some things that I could still remember every detail of it. Like when I went in Pampanga. It was so fun especially when we’ve had an outing. That is my first time to take a slide on a long sliding pool with my friends. my color just turned into red, then later i was like a "nog-nog" at that time. Then as I grew up, many things had changed. I know now how so busy I am. Because being a happy go lucky & carefree isn’t that you’ve always want to be. There are full of responsibilities now, so much priority and may task. But whenever and whatever it is, I still have find time to go out and have some fun. Like going out with my friends after a long day of work. This is where we went in Adventure Resort Bulacan, a night outing with them. We just get together, bonding and reuniting with my old friends way back in high school. This is how I really miss them. It was also over whelming to experience to have a work & got your rest day by giving an outing to everyone by your boss. With my co-workers & my boss, we get a chance to take time to relax, enjoy the summer & be with our family before going back to work again. at Plums Resort Pansol Calamba Laguna This was also taken last year in Dad's Resort in Malabon with my cousin and my grandmother. It was also fun but a little sad because we were only just the three of us. Anyway, we have food, a swim wear & a sun block. So why bother to be sad? We were there to enjoyed and have fun. Swimming is fun. go wherever you are ... Then our latest activity now was swimming lesson. Every Thursday, we have a swimming lesson held in Oreta Sports Complex at Malabon City. Together with my classmates, we have to wear proper swimming attire so we choose the swim wear that will fit to us and make us comfortable to swim. A rush guard. On our first day it was exciting and a little bit nervous because some of us know how to swim, while others can’t. And I’m one of those persons who don’t know how to swim. & the fact that it’s our subject and we have to pass it. It was scary though, I just need a little time to learn. As we get into the pool, it was almost freezing at that time. But later on, when our professor teaches us what we will do, we become more confident being there in the water. I’ve become more extra attentive to myself. Of course, safetyness is vey important.

2/6/2015 0 Comments biyaheng ilocos Windmills, sand dunes, light house, bell tower, rock formation ... and other attractions that you'll surely won't miss. Ilocos is truly a great place to visit. As we arrived going to Ilocos, i feel jittery because of excitement. in three days, we will experience to leave in our home and explore something that we'd never seen & do before. on our way i feel so drowsy, it was so cold in the bus that i couldn't get to sleep. plus the fact that it was raining on the outside. ( i'm also worried during our road trip due to the bad weather.) i'm sure everyone else feels the same way too. it was a long...trip.actually. until we finally came in. it was already 5 o'clock in the morning. after a long day of trip, we went to Heritage Resort of Caoayan to have our lunch/breakfast. the food was so good, i remember the "pinakbet" where my uncle ( my auntie's husband ) used to cook for us in his own style since he lived before in pangasinan. Then we went in Baluarte, owned by Mr. Chavit Singson. a well-known politician in the country. This place is so attractive & enjoyable as a tourist attraction & entertainment also. because it features gigantic dinosaurs, there are information about the animals. & if you want, you can also ride on a miniature horse with your friend. The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is just so tall that it gives the panoramic view of the south china sea. in this place, many artists had shoot there like a popular tv show, Walang hanggan(starring Coco Martin & Julia Montes). some scenes are capture there. wwooowwww..... i am so lucky! one of my idol ( JM ) have been there. i am so happy. :) and also, the horror movie Shake,Rattle & Roll ( starring Kathryn Bernardo & Louisse de los Reyes ). very nice place...really. i hope it doesn't have any scary story. creepy..... Coco Martin & Julia Montes in Walang hanggan teleserye For me, getting there in Burgos, Kapurpurawan is much a lot of harder than in others. because the way to go in rock formation, it's like a rocky road. but once you get there, you will finally get the chance to see the view of all rock ages without thinking that you're tired. excellent!!! One of my unforgettable embarrasing experience is when my doll shoes got damaged. and because of that, i wasn't able to use it again that's why that time, i need to bought a slipper & use it the whole time and take note, i am the only one not wearing a close shoes. i am so ashamed. well, i've learned my lessons enough. After kapurpurawan, next is Bangui Windmills. The sea & the sand are approaching us to go near to the water. but unluckily, we need to get back in the bus as fast as we can so that we can go to our next destination. but before we leave, we make sure we've got something to have as a souvenir. we take pictures in the windmills, make jump shots, buy key chains. i already make video as we left the giant & unforgettable, windmills. isn't that amazing?! when after you go to church, you can visit the Bantayan Bell Tower. this place is so wonderful that all tourist must have been see this heritage site. with my friends, going to the top of the tower, all i want to do is to shout, "i'm the queen of the world!!" (but of course, it's not allowed to that. Ha-ha). i just take the moment to be contented being there in that place. spend a lot of my time to explore as fast as we can. & make some moments lasts. This place is surrounded with sand & seas...perfect for having an outing with families & friends. the food is so tasty & delicious. thanks to the lunch held in Plaza del mar, i recharged myself to explore the place. Vigan is one of the best place to visit in Ilocos. because of the old structures of the museums, the landmarks of furnitures & antiques they made. & the delecacies you'll surely won't forget to buy. still, i am mesmerized of how they managed to maintain the city, of how long they preserved their culture. Marcos Mausoleum This is one of those museums worth going to. There's enough information about his personal life & career. i got to know him better. seeing his body at the mausoleum is fine but the music inside makes me creepy, same with the flowers around. i really wonder if it's really lying there. well, anyway. i was touching to still see the physical remains of President Ferdinand Marcos despite the so many years that passed since he died. visitors are reminded not to touch anything around the coffin. breathe in, breath out. are you ready to take the dangerous activity? not totally danger, but extraordinary adventure. never forget to go in La paz sand dunes & experience the sand cruising, also known as "4 by 4 ride" & sand boarding. experince the thrilling activities that you will enjoy (i'm sure of that.) just keep your hold tight & let you feel you are flying around the world. making an interview with the staff of resortsin Intramuros, Manila. Caloocan day. where we actually celebrating an event in Bonifacio Monument. usually students from all high school and universities in Caloocan go there to be one that event. every year, we have to acknowledge the day of valor. that's why me and my classmates went there... but after that, we find ourselves enjoying each other's company that we have to extend our time and go to somewhere else. then, as a tourism students, we don't just want to hang out and have fun. but to explore and make more familiarize about places. so we go to Intramuros,Manila. we chose to go there because it's more cheaper and nearer to travel. and plus, no hassle to take a trip. first, we walk along to Intramuros street were they called it also "walled city" then we visit to Manila Cathedral and make some prayers on ourselves. We passed by Plaza Ezpaña,IV Centenario De La Expedicion Maritima Mexico Filipinas, Aduana Building, Memorare-Manila 1945, San Agustin Church and finally Fort Santiago. i really enjoyed going out with my friends especially it was an educational trip. overloading experiences, knowledges, and memories that i can keep it forever. In Manila Cathedral. i usually go to church by myself or sometimes with my cousin.. but as of this moment, i'm so happy that i'm with them. every now & then, i try to look back at the past where those people made us proud to our own country.especially for our heroes ...2/3/2015 0 Comments a moment with st. pope francisTe queremos Lolo Kiko (Papa francisco, Mahal ng Pilipino) Filipinos are all excited to welcome pope francis by visiting here in philippines. everyone are so prepared, that actually it lasted in 4 days. we've got time to spend it with him and listen to his words. on January 15, he arrived at exactly 5:34 pm. then on January 16, he went to malacañang to have a meeting with our president and with the families. on January 17, he went to Leyte where it was it's the main why he visit Philppines. he ask how are the conditions now of the survivor of that incident. all people were so happy to see him but because of the weather, he couldn't much stay longer even if he wants to. then on his last day,January 18. he had a mass where it was fisrt held in UST in the morning, and then in Quirino, grandstand at noon. We (me & my cousin) went to Luneta around 4:00 am because we also want to be part of that event & be one of the people who have been there. we really want to see pope in person and make part of that history. I also want to listen what he will say to those people who are grieving so much after the sequential tragic in the Philippines. and what will do to have more faith in god. that day, it was also celebrating the Sto. Niño festival. those who participated in the mass requested to bring their images of the Sto Niño. so we brings ours, (who i brought it for my mother) . but even before the mass started, i got so pee that i need to get restroom. the portal was too far from our place, and it was also crowded at that time. the line of the people was too long, so me & one of my friend, ate elle (whom i just met a while ago) went to the exit to find another comfort room. I didn't actually realize that it would be the start of my day without expecting the way it should be. when we finally realize we need to get back to our place as soon as we can, because we figured out there are too many people in the outside. the policeman stops us to enter again. they said, we just need to get find another way to enter again. so we just go to the way where they are pointing at us. but when we finally get there, (we are on Maria Orosa st.) it doesn't have an enter gate where exactly it was supposed to have. they are also blocking the way instead. we are so worried that time we didn't actually have time to pee. we just walk & walk until how we make it to our place again. we can't make it contact them either because there was no signal due to the safetyness of pope. but when we got tired, we just went to sm,manila where our main purpose is to use a comfort room. it was raining and we are already wet.it was 11:00 am and were also hungry too. we continuously walk back again hoping we could come back to enter. the policeman are so strict that we didn't make it to enter until pope francis came. i am dissapointed about it but we were lucky enough because his way is too closer from us. although i didn't saw his face, i am so happy enough. i got the the chance to record it. after that we finally came back to our place but we were too late. my cousin and my friend's husband were already left. I don't know what & how i felt that time. (mixed emotions.i think.) since our guardians didn't us approve to go there. i thought the two of us were going home happy because we saw pope. but it turned out, i will go home on my own. (so sad that time.since it was our idea in the first place.) I still finish the mass even though we were freezing by the cold weather. with ate elle (my friend), got the chance to lighten the candles were people behind our back gave us & sings the "Tell the World of his Love. and "We are all god's children." as the final closing of the mass. It was all of my unexpected experiences that day that i will never ever forget... I'm thanking for Lolol kiko & Lord for the chances-- :)) |
