3/29/2015 0 Comments PuertoristaOnboard! In less than a minute, we will be going to ride on a boat going to Puerto Galera. This is the Ati Batangas Port where we are going to have our transportation. The passenger's fee for us is only 24 PHP. Because we are a student. March 11, 2015, at exactly 09:00 am, we will experience to travel by just a boat! I’m sure it was very exciting since I have the experience to ride on it even before when I was a kid. Upon arriving, we see all the islands that scattered all over the sea. & in the middle of the ocean, it was very beautiful view. The deep blue sea, the mountains that are blocked by the clouds. Far from the city where I used to live. We’re finally here in Puerto Nirvana Resort! We’re we are going to have our first activity: Snorkeling. :) We just fix our things & ourselves quickly so we can go to our next destination, the Haligi Beach. Get our lunch and be prepared to explore under the sea. Welcome to Puerto Nirvana Resort! The Haligi Beach This is my very first time to try this kind of equipment & it was very hard to use this at first. You need to adjust & have a lot of more patience to learn. So I did my best to learn because I really want to see the beautiful species lying under the sea. & of course, it is “once in a lifetime opportunity” that we have on our tour. So why will I waste my time thinking that “I cannot do it?”. And most importantly, not to enjoy this activity? Going to the place where many corals are, Manong (bangkero & our tour guide) instructed us what are the dos & donts. I was nervous back then because he said we will just hold on a rope tie on the boat until we float. I’m so afraid. Really afraid of the sea urchins (that kind of species really creepy!) that might get us wounded. It has many shapes, small, big. It was like a needle that is so sharp. But later on, as we see all the kinds of coral reefs & fishes, we are finally relieved & didn’t bother anymore that kind of feeling. My eyes are so relaxing by this view. How peacefully & calmly this creation of god. It’s just sad to know, that some of the corals are already dead, & I just figured out that we haven’t seen some many kinds of fishes as we explore. Our second day: Team Building (The conflict game) I called it our game “conflict” because all of the game we played is never that easy & you can’t figure it out quickly. Our tour guide, sir Ferdie, sir Edwin & Kuya Aaron the Sardonyx Team gave us a difficult but fun to play games. To enhance ourselves, to cooperate, & have a leadership on a team. The game is begun by ‘’getting to know each other” & get a unique team name & a cheering. This activity helps me to focus, to be a wiser & to express more of myself. I didn’t even realize that I can do it by myself. I am also the one who name our team: PUERTORISTA (see how inspired me by Puerto Galera. :D) I think it would very helpful to me for my future career someday. This kind of team building was so awesome. I am so thankful to our tour guides from all the things that I’ve learned from this game. Third activity: Going to Tamaraw falls In here, we’ve had to got time out & take a time to relax, & get some pictures from the falls. Last activity: Hunting souvenir items at White Beach. Unluckily, I didn’t get pictures from the white beach because I was so busy that time to look for something to buy. I didn’t also get a chance to see the full view of the beach. (Aw!) Did I just almost miss it? I guess so. hu-hu. That was so sad for me. Anyway, I still have some items to bring it home for me & for my family. An event in Puerto Nirvana Resort We get a chance to have a simple party & small talks between the owners of the resort, Mr. Robert Roxas, & of cours, the team of Sardonyx. Mr. Roxas shared some knowledge & views about Puerto Galera. Some of us ask a few questions regarding from that place. From this moment, I’ve realized that there are some places that still not discover & recognized by the people. We just have to explore more, appreciate the value of historical places, sites, & their culture. Like in Bulabod Beach. There is a part of me that left from that place. & I think I have to go back there again someday & established my own resort & build my own businesses. Being a tourism student in University of Caloocan City I really had fun going from this place, earned knowledge, built a new relationships from other people, & had a best experience that I will never ever forget.
